My name is Emily Yount and I am a Junior Mebane-Scholar from Mount Pleasant, North Carolina. I am majoring in Special Education- General Curriculum. I couldn’t be more honored to be a Mebane Scholar due to the many opportunities, resources, and extra support it gives me as a future educator and current student. I will be student teaching in the spring of 2025, and aspire to become a K-2 resource Special Education teacher!
