My name is Brittney Thompson and I am a recent graduate of the Elementary and Special Education Dual Program at UNC Charlotte. I currently serve as a EC Classroom Teacher at Niner University Elementary (NUE). During my time at UNC Charlotte, I was a Mebane Early Literacy Scholar, a Literacy Innovation Leader Scholar, and part of the first cohort of teacher candidates to complete course- and enhanced-fieldwork experiences at NUE. I am trained in multiple evidence-based practices and have served as a peer-mentor to teacher candidates in the Elementary Education preparation program.
